This is a long-term residential program for youth that is designed to encourage at-risk, homeless and foster care youth to develop independent life skills that enable them to become successful adults with marketable career skills.

Who We Help
We help young people between the ages of 16-21 who have voluntarily moved out, have been asked to leave by their parents, have no other place to live, or are in foster care. Some of these individuals have behavioral and/or drug problems and have refused to follow their parent's rules. We have space for 20 young people and eight of those spaces will accommodate four mothers and four infants in a special wing.

What We Can Do
Residents are taught the YMCA core values of respect, caring, honesty and responsibility in their daily lives. Counseling is designed to assist with any crisis they face in attaining success toward education and career choices.

Requirements
Each participant must attend school, remain employed and are required to save and submit a portion of their earnings. The permitted stay is up to 18 months if they have not reached their 22nd birthday.
