The YMCA Foundation of Sarasota is prepared to accept any item of value. While many donors choose to give cash or appreciated stock, the YMCA has developed sound practices and a successful track record for handling non-liquid assets. For example: gifts of jewelry, art, real estate, boats and more have been gifted to the YMCA Foundation and young and old have benefited. Donors receive recognition for these assets and everyone benefits as fair valuations are established in full compliance with the spirit and letter of the law.
