You can contact our President, Karin Gustafson @ 941-951-1336 ext. 3 who will discuss the details with you in giving straightforward gifts of simple real estate or more complicated properties requiring environmental impact surveys.

Can I have a gift named for me?

There are many named gift opportunities from scholarships for Y kids attending college to endowed funds each keeps giving in perpetuity. Currently naming opportunities exist at Y fitness facilities and Y residential facilities for children in foster care. Whether an endowed gift or a family name on a room or facility, each creates a meaningful legacy. Contact the YMCA Foundation 941-951-1336 to discuss a gift naming commensurate with your wishes and the size of your gift.

How can I become a Scholarship sponsor?

Contact Caroline Chambliss @941-951-1336 ext. 6 to be presented with a list of eligible students.

How do I make an honorary or memorial contribution?

Send your gift along with the person to be memorialized or honored and their address. We will inform the appropriate parties of your gift and give you a tax acknowledgment.

How can I liquidate an estate to benefit the YMCA?

Contact us at 941-951-1336 for a sample contract. We can liquidate your estate onsite or in our 3,000 sq. ft. facility. You may either donate entirely for a tax -deduction or consign for a 30% fee.

How do I become involved in "Going for the Gold - Elementary?"

Contact the Foundation office @ 941-951-1336. All proceeds from the elementary dinner auction help change lives for children and families in need.

How can I/we become a participant in the Community Coalition for Children?

The Community Coalition for Children provides the "extras" for children in need. You can become a partner by calling Caroline Chambliss at the Foundation office 941-951-1336
