Wednesday, December 16, 2009 The Harry Sudakoff Foundation Grants $35,000 to the YMCA

The Harry Sudakoff Foundation has generously awarded a $35,000 grant to the Sarasota Family YMCA’s Triad Alternative School program.

This grant will fund curriculum during this school year that improves student knowledge, increases community service and on-the-job training for students.

The Triad Alternative Program is a cooperative community project with the School Board of Sarasota County for students who may otherwise be expelled from public schools. The program serves middle and high school students from throughout Sarasota County.

The Sarasota Family YMCA is recognized for innovative programs and outstanding facilities.
